City of Sanctuary UK would like to build a network of Spokespeople who can speak out at public events, in the media on refugee and asylum issues, as well as possibly getting involved in your local City of Sanctuary group/activities. The Sanctuary in Politics training course aims to help spokespeople develop the skills they need to do this effectively. We would like to encourage participants not to just attend a one-off course, but to commit to a more long term engagement with City of Sanctuary UK (or local City of Sanctuary group).
Please email Zaina at [email protected] who can help you complete an application form for the training.
Application deadline is 30th April 2024
Data protection: The information you give us on this form will be kept safe and will not be passed on to other organisations.
We cannot guarantee all people who apply to attend the training will be given a place, but we will try to keep you informed of other opportunities to speak publicly, and future training programmes.
